Molly Tarlov

Molly Tarlov, an American actress, who has been playing in Awkward since the year 2011 and is also known by the name of Sadie Saxton. Tarlov grew up in Manhattan as the oldest of two daughters. As a student at the Little Red School House, Tarlov began her career in the role of Mrs. Peterson at age 10. The show was well received by students in the 7th grade. As she got older, she took her time at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and also in Paris working with NYU's Tisch. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She was able to study a range of styles of acting. Additionally, she studied with The Atlantic Theater Company and was able to incorporate the writing aspect of her act at The LAByrinth Theater Master Class. Molly traded in her winter coat in exchange for dark sunglasses and headed to Los Angeles. She was not long before she was cast in a 3 word role on iCarly that attracted the attention to her parents. In the years since, she's appeared on television in numerous roles. In addition, she created the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly would like to believe that she is a good basketball player even though she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
